Treatment Approach

I use a variety of approaches  and interventions to fit your unique needs. We’ll work collaboratively on a treatment plan using cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, emotionally focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and psychodynamic therapy/ego state work.

There is a growing body of neuroscience research that supports the practice self-compassion, mindfulness and EMDR in psychotherapy. Individuals that practice these techniques are happier, more resilient, and better equipped to heal painful memories from the past. I help my clients move past the difficult blocks to create a life that feels more joyful and authentic.

“Resilience is not a trait that you either have or do not have; it is a set of strategies that can be learned and practiced and by anyone”
